Investigation & Survey
One part of the Spice/Ceng teams remit, was the relocation of all the broadcast services from Montpanasse to the new HQ in Rue Balard. The scope included detailed survey of legacy equipment for the transfer of existing equipment to be reassembled into a new extended curved display wall.
Design & Planning
The Spice/Ceng design team provided the clients facilities group, with detailed space planning for the control room “foot prints” followed by lighting design and services floor and ceiling layouts.
From the power & data control room arrangements, an infrastructure strategy was formulated to produce power schedules as part of the overall new build interior fit-out

Console design
To cope with the inevitable demands of changing technology, the design of the original modular structure for the operations and payload control centres consoles incorporated in built flexibility to allow the future upgrade of flat screen monitor technology.
